A Green Twist on Client Gifts!

Sometimes, mixing it up and doing something out of the ordinary is all it takes to be memorable.  Many years ago, when we were first starting out, our goal as an event planning company was to surprise our clients occasionally so that they knew that they were important and special.

With our last name being Irish, we often chose St. Patrick’s Day to deliver client gifts! This always got a smile, and was welcomed as an unexpected surprise: St. Paddy’s Day Breakfast Baskets!

Call up your local Einstein’s or Noah’s Bagels about a week before St. Patrick’s Day, (They are usually available from 3/12 – 3/17) and inquire with a manager about the Green Bagels with “Shmear” as they call it. You can pick up your Green Bagel box right at the counter! You can find your local Einstein’s HERE. They package it up cute enough to just carry into work, but for added 3P flair…see below!

At our local shop (where Jessi hangs out quite a bit to get 3P blog work done in the AM!) a box of 13 Green Bagels and two tubs of cream cheese is only $14.99 and are available NOW!

To whip up a quick gift…select a basket or themed container (like our Leprechaun hat), add your bagels and a bit of tissue paper or coordinating garland with colorful picks and a doily. Be sure to include some themed napkins, plates and plastic knife for the “shmear”. When everything is placed just-so…go ahead and cellophane it up! That’s all you need! A really delicious and different way to show your clients, family or Irish buddies you care.

And a 3P Bonus: We found this great, free printable “Oh So Lucky To Have You” card in fun Irish font to go with your gift HERE!

Love this idea!! I think that surprising my Irish friends on St. Patrick’s day instead of their birthdays could be a really fun idea. Thanks for the tip 3P!! It sparked me to think outside of the “birthday box”!
