Are you looking for that classic summer recipe that works for everything? This one is a keeper! Our dear friend Jackie always makes her Mother’s recipe for Potato Salad as an accompaniment to her husband Bill’s BBQ Ribs (which we featured last week in the Man Cave HERE!), and everyone LOVES this duo! Potato Salad is such a go-to side for any 4th of July party, Summer Picnic, Outdoor BBQ…you simply can’t go wrong with this dish! It’s easy to make, and easy to take!
She even shared her hand written ingredients card with us, that you can also print for yourself for a quick shopping trip!
Once you have your ingredients together, the rest is a cinch!
The HOW-TO: Go ahead and whisk together mayonnaise, mustard, vegetable oil, celery salt, salt and pepper until smooth. Add cooked potatoes, celery, onions and chopped eggs. Stir gently. Refrigerate 1 hour to blend flavors.
A Summer Classic, at your next table! And just in time for the 4th!
What’s your Spin-On-Spuds? Jessi’s best friend Jay loves to add dill pickles to his signature salad, and Chris loves to add bacon! Share yours with us on the blog, or tell us about them on Facebook!
Thank you for all the great ideas! I love to look at the posts and pictures and have definitely put the ideas to use. Happy Fourth!
Valerie
